Universal 2-1/2" Plastic Hose Valve Cap (Any Special Thread)
- Reduce Theft with ABS Plastic Caps
- For use with standpipe valves, angle hose valves, gate valves, or fire pump test header valves.
- Fits non-standard hose threads such as New York Threads (NYFD) and Chicago Threads.
The universal hose valve cap with chain is compatible with most 2-1⁄2” sized hose valves*. The cap is simply pushed onto the outlet, can be installed without any tools, and is engineered to be removed and put back in place several times without compromising the level of protection it delivers to the threads and against buildup of debris.

Installation
Make sure the valve outlet and male threads are free from debris. Push the cap
onto the valve until tight. Attach chain to the valve body at the point provided by
the valve manufacturer.
CAUTION: PLASTIC HOSE VALVE CAPS ARE FOR PROTECTION OF THE
MALE THREAD ONLY. DO NOT PRESSURIZE PLASTIC HOSE VALVE CAPS.
SERIOUS BODILY INJURY WILL OCCUR.
