    Allenco's 2-1/2" Fire Hydrant Test Cap is installed on the outlet of a fire hydrant to determine the available water pressure. The unique quick disconnect design provides ease of orientation of the gauge, quick venting of air, and the ability to change the gauge without the need to shut the hydrant.

    The quick disconnect is compatible and interchangeable with Allenco's Pitot Kit. Threads are NST. If another thread is required please contact us.

    Furnished with your choice of a 2-1/2" or 4" liquid filled gauge, available in the following ranges;

    • 0-60 PSI
    • 0-100 PSI

    These high quality gauges are manufactured to ANSI B.40.1 Grade 1A standards, are 1% accurate over the entire gauge range and conform to NFPA 20-2010 (14.2.5.1.2) as it relates to gauge accuracy.

    The standard glycerine filling helps to provide a steadier gauge reading while also lubricating the gauge movement which helps to extend the gauge life.

    These gauges have a 4" dial, PSI scale, stainless steel case, brass internals, and bronze bourdon tube with 1/4" NPT lower connection.

    Calibrated gauges include test report and serial number. Gauges are tagged with serial number, customer name and calibration date. Annual re-certification is available.
