Replacement rubber gasket for female couplings or adapters. These gaskets are designed for fit Hose thread "NHST" adapters.

These valves are great for reducing theft of brass! Attach them to a test connection during flow tests and remove to store in a secure location when not in use.

NOTE: Both threads are HOSE threads and require an adapter for pipe threads.

The universal hose valve cap with chain is compatible with most 2-1⁄2” sized hose valves*. The cap is simply pushed onto the outlet, can be installed without any tools, and is engineered to be removed and put back in place several times without compromising the level of protection it delivers to the threads and against buildup of debris.

*Not Suitable for 2-1/2" RCH Angle Hose Valve

Installation 
Make sure the valve outlet and male threads are free from debris. Push the cap
onto the valve until tight. Attach chain to the valve body at the point provided by
the valve manufacturer.

CAUTION: PLASTIC HOSE VALVE CAPS ARE FOR PROTECTION OF THE
MALE THREAD ONLY. DO NOT PRESSURIZE PLASTIC HOSE VALVE CAPS.
SERIOUS BODILY INJURY WILL OCCUR.
